Chianti Blackmon, M.S.

Founder and Principal Consultant

Chianti Blackmon (she/her/ella) is a visionary equity, justice, and inclusion consultant, educator, and coach with over 15 years of experience guiding individuals and institutions through transformative change. The founder of The Grace in Growth, Chianti brings deep care, clarity, and strategy to every space she enters—believing that true equity work begins with inner work and is sustained through collective accountability and imagination.

With a national portfolio spanning higher education, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations, Chianti has led efforts in leadership coaching, policy development, strategic planning, and climate transformation. As a senior-level college administrator in both public and private institutions, she has developed a reputation for navigating complexity with integrity, while creating systems that support justice, belonging, and repair.

She is a proud member of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE) and a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). Her work focuses on organizational climate assessment, disrupting dominance and supremacy in both interpersonal and structural forms, executive coaching, and helping leaders move from allyship to authentic accompliceship.

At the heart of Chianti’s work is the belief that growth is not only possible—it requires grace. The Grace in Growth was founded on the idea that equity work demands space for imperfection, reflection, and repair—not just for our communities, but for ourselves. In a culture shaped by fear of failure and the pressure to be perfect, Chianti invites individuals and institutions to stumble, to ask difficult questions, and to build the skills to recover and commit to liberatory growth.
